When contacting us, please include:
- Your device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18.1)
- App version (from Settings → About in the app, if available)

Please do not send full medical records or sensitive personal information by email. Share only what is necessary to describe the issue.
2. Frequently Asked Questions
A: PetVax AI stores your pet information locally on your device and, if configured, may sync certain data to the cloud (e.g. via Firebase) so you can restore it if you reinstall or sign in again. Always keep your device backed up (iCloud / Google backup) for extra safety.
A: In the app, go to the home screen, tap Add Pet to create a new pet, or select a pet to view and edit their vaccinations, events, and timeline.
A: Use the Scan feature and take a clear photo of your pet's vaccination card. PetVax uses on-device OCR and cloud-based AI to read the text, extract vaccine names and dates, and suggest structured entries you can review and save.
A: The free version of PetVax AI includes ads to support development. You can remove ads and unlock additional features by upgrading to Pro via an in-app purchase.
A: On a new device or after reinstalling, open the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases (or the paywall screen) while signed in with the same Apple ID / Google account you used to purchase Pro. The app uses RevenueCat to securely restore your subscription or lifetime purchase.
3. Billing & Subscriptions
All purchases and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store). For billing issues (refunds, payment problems, accidental purchases):
- iOS: Use Apple's Report a Problem page or the App Store app.
- Android: Use the Google Play subscription management page.
If you need help understanding what a subscription includes, contact us at support@petvax.ai. We cannot override Apple or Google's billing decisions but can help clarify what you purchased.
4. Data & Privacy Requests
To request a copy of your data, correction of incorrect data, or deletion of your account and associated data (where technically and legally possible), email us at support@petvax.ai with:
- Subject: "PetVax AI Data Request"
- The email address or ID you use in the app (if applicable)
- Whether you're requesting access, correction, or deletion
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
5. Reporting Bugs & Feature Requests
We welcome feedback that helps improve PetVax AI. When reporting a bug, please include:
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened (including any error messages)
